Living Savior’s MISSION is to know the love of Christ and serve God so that the Holy Spirit may work through us to bring others to Christ.
Nursery is provided for small children ages 4 and younger during the worship services and Sunday School from 8:15am to 12:15pm in room #2 in the Educational Wing. Susanna Honeycutt is the attendant. Please register your children in the nursery so she can get to know them.

There are still Sundays available! The 2017 Flower Chart is in the walkway - sign-up today to get your pick of Sundays. Cost for each Sunday is $45.
Choir Notes: Chancel Choir rehearsal is held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. Voices are needed for all parts and Sr High through adults are welcome and encouraged to join. The choir supports the singing of the hymns and liturgy, as well as presenting a special anthem each Sunday and at special services during the year. The choir sings at the communion service, alternating between the 8:30 and 11:00 service each week. If you enjoy singing, we need you for this important ministry. The contemporary praise band rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. The contemporary services are held on the first and third Sunday of each month at the 11:00 service, with rehearsals being held on the Thursday evenings prior to the first and third Sundays. Men's Prayer Breakfast: Men of the congregation are invited to join other Living Savior men for breakfast, prayer and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 7 - 8:30am. Questions? Contact Paul Gross.
Men’s Christian Fellowship Dinner: LSLC men meet the last Thursday of every month beginning at 7:00pm for dinner, fellowship and a short Bible study. The next dinner will be March 30th at 7:00pm. Questions? Contact Jim Neuburger.
Women In Prayer meets Saturdays at 9:30am. We are continuing with a study of women of the bible. If you are interested in being on the e-mail list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lifelight is an in-depth bible study which meets on Wednesdays during the school year from 1:00-2:30pm in the Narthex and is led by Donna Dietz. We are doing a study of the Book of Luke. Please contact Terri Beam with any questions at 703-239-0782 or email@example.com. All are welcome!

New Adult Bible Study: “Thinking Lutheran” Join us as we explore the teachings of Martin Luther that define what it means to be a Lutheran. These truths that Martin Luther held too, defined the reformation and still define us today. We will explore the topics of the two realms, the two kinds of righteousness and what it means to be a theologian of the cross. We will meet every Sunday at 9:50 in Klein Hall. The Bridges International Fellowship Dinner is scheduled for April 7th at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church. Current Bridges staff and fellowship participants are due to speak. We will also hear from former participants who have traveled back to their home countries. Living Savior is sponsoring a table and are encouraging folks of all ages to sign up to attend. The US is home to over 1,000,000 international students and visiting scholars. Bridges International (part of Campus Crusade) is a non-profit, Christian organization whose mission is to serve the international student population in the US and abroad. COMMUNION POLICY: Everyone who is a baptized Christian, repents of sin, believes in the real presence of Christ's body and blood in, with, under the bread and wine of the Holy Communion is cordially invited to receive the Lord's Supper at Living Savior. To receive wine by individual cup, take a cup from the serving tray and wait for Pastor to say "The Blood of Christ", then return the cup to server that follows Pastor. To receive wine by the common cup (chalice), take the base & tilt to receive the amount you wish. If you wish to receive nonalcoholic white grape juice, there are individual cups in the center of the tray. If you wish to receive Gluten/wheat/corn and soya free communion wafers please speak to Pastor or an usher before the start of service.
